🧹Enchanted Harvest 🍂 Samhain Women's Gathering ~ Ritual Day Retreat

During this day retreat at Moss and Moonlight's Sanctuary for Healing Arts, we will gather in a circle of women for guided ritual, seasonal wisdom, and witchy craft in honor of Samhain. Space is intentionally limited to promote genuine connection and personal attention.

Samhain (pronounced Sow-en) is an ancient Celtic festival and the root of what we now know as Halloween. Samhain means “Summer’s End," welcoming the dark half of the year. This is a sacred time of transition - a chance to honor endings and beginnings, and embrace the wisdom of the shadow. Known as the “Witches’ New Year,” Samhain reflects inner tending. A time to clear out the old harvest and plant seeds, which will root over winter, and trust they will bloom with the coming spring. Samhain is also when the veil between the physical and spirit worlds are thin, allowing us to better communicate and connect to our ancestors and those who have departed the earthly realm.

Together, we will embrace the wisdom of this seasonal threshold: reclaiming the (often misunderstood) power of the dark, connecting to our intuition and our innate abilities for healing and manifestation.

Schedule:

🌑 Opening Ceremony We will drop into our sacred space for the day with introductions, a teaching on Samhain and tapping into the energy of this season, and guided sharing to foster authentic connection and community.

🌾Nourishment & Harvest

Enjoy refreshments and a seasonal snack prepared by Rebecca the Kitchen Witch, as we create an edible mosaic using symbolic herbs and spices, inspired by Demeter and Persephone and the blessings of a fruitful harvest. BYO a meal if you wish, and enjoy it together within the circle.

📖 Storytelling & Ancestral Prayer Receive wisdom through readings on our theme. An ancestor connection prayer will help us receive any important messages.

🍂 Spell Jar Ritual & Meditation

We’ll close by releasing what is ready to be shed, crafting a Samhain spell jar in a creative and meditative ritual.

Encouraged, but not required, to wear something witchy yet comfortable 🧙🏻‍♀️

Samantha Stengle is the owner of Moss and Moonlight. She is a Reiki Practitioner, Ritualist, and Circle Facilitator.  She is passionate about creating spaces that invite release, grounding, and meaningful connection. Her work weaves together nature, creativity, somatic awareness, community, feminine empowerment, and the wisdom of the divine.
