About the event
The Spring Equinox, occurring between March 19-22 in the Northern Hemisphere, marks a moment of equilibrium when day and night are of equal length. As the sun reaches its zenith, calling the onset of spring, light begins to spark the awakening of the earth. Plants emerge, and animals end their hibernation, signaling the renewal of life.
Ostara, an ancient festival honoring the arrival of spring, has roots in Germanic and Celtic traditions. Named after the Germanic goddess Eostre, it symbolizes nature's cyclical rebirth. In pre-Christian times, communities celebrated Eostre and the vernal equinox, welcoming warmth and fertility back to the land.
Ostara represents the victory of light over darkness, mirrored in the increasing daylight and the rejuvenation of the natural world. Its symbolsโeggs, hares, and flowersโecho the eternal cycle of life, urging us to embrace change and growth.
During this womenโs circle welcoming the coming of spring & honoring nature, we will include a ritual, a chance to share your current truths, hold sacred space and connect within a small group 💫💐ย
This intimate gathering includes:
โข Sharing via Guided Discussion, promoting genuine connection and communityย
โข Learning and sharing wisdoms of Ostara, the point on the Wheel of the Year that represents the start of Spring
โข A ritual and meditation in theme of Ostara and connecting with nature and its' blessings*ย
*(You will be a part of the magic just from being in the circle. However, there will be a short/optional material list if you wish to perform a ritual along with me)
Approximately 1.5 hr sister circle. For more information, reviews, and photos of previous virtual circles, click here.
