Each workshop is a potent offering to invoke our collective power as witches in time for Halloween and Samhain.

Samhain was first mentioned in Irish literature in the 9th century. Samhain is a time when the veil between worlds is thin, connecting us to our ancestors and those who have departed the earthly realm. It is a time for us to honor our innate abilities for healing and manifestation, and to reclaim the title of "Witch."

Schedule:

- Women's Circle: Opening Ceremony

Hosted by Samantha. Here we will open and drop into our sacred space for the day, within our community. We will hold connective group discussion, a lesson on the roots of Witchcraft, the witch wound, and what makes us unique as witches. Including an empowering meditation with the intention to heal the past, remember our power, and shape our future, honoring both ourselves and those who came before.

- Celtic Storytelling Circle

Hosted by Marisa. Marisa will guide us through storytelling of traditional Irish-celebrated Samhain Goddess/Witch named Mongfind, with invitations to explore your own relationship to this special time of year.

- Kitchen Witchery: Ancestral Cooking

Hosted by Rebecca. Explore the art of infusing your culinary creations with the wisdom of generations past as we dive into the beauty and bounty of Kitchen Witchery. Using familiar fall spices such as cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove to form a sweet, candied sweet potato dish that is designed to invoke our innate power and celebrate the abundance of the season. Discover the secrets of our foremothers and channel their strength as we embrace tradition, intuition, and focus on building and sustaining our own energy. * includes tasting

- Dinner Break

Bring your own dinner

- Death & Chocolate

Hosted by Kaitlyn. In this workshop participants will pair up with a few different individuals to enjoy decadent herbal infused truffles wrapped in thought-invoking prompts to promote heart-opening connection around our own beliefs, edges and experiences on the topic of death.  In this space Kaitlyn weaves the understanding of how death interrelates to life, knowledge of the supportive qualities of plants and herbs through transitions, and the wisdom of how all living things interconnect through life and beyond.

Held at Moss and Moonlight's Sanctuary for Healing Arts located in Hopewell Junction, NY. Exact address to the Sanctuary will be sent after registration. There will be an inclement weather date of the following day, Sunday 10/22 for severe weather only.
